Nurturing Soil to Nourish Communities

We are a young family nestled in the Robson Valley growing and baking nutrient-dense food for nearby communities.

We believe growing chemical-free biodiverse food is activism! We believe small-scale, locally produced food is vital for a sustainable future. We believe the nutritional quality of edible plants depends upon building up fertile soils, abundant in living microorganisms. We believe that by adopting soil health practices we invest in the health of our community, environment and future generations.

We look forward to the 2020 season with our garden allies:

– Our garden mascot, Bouleau cat “Boo-Tat”, the ultimate vole hunter.

– Our garden guru, Pete Amyoony “Le Maraicher Fou” which means “the Crazy Market Gardener”. His patience, teaching skills and sick sense of humor are a gift.

– The “Boss”, little Zavion, our source of inspiration. He is one year old and present to remind us why we are doing what we are doing. The next generation is already here!

~Yann and Katrina

Our practices are inspired by regenerative agriculture methods and permaculture designs. We aim to increase biodiversity and save seeds to help us become more resilient in our ever changing interconnected ecosystems.

Healthy soils grow healthy plants which grow healthy people.”

~ Pete Amyoony
